There are many reasons why you might suddenly find yourself needing additional storage space.
Perhaps you’re moving home and your completion dates don’t quite line up. You may be renovating your house and want to keep furniture and belongings safely out of the way while work takes place. You might simply have accumulated more possessions than you have room for.
Whatever the reason, our Lochgelly storage units provide a practical way to create the additional space you need without having to get rid of belongings you would rather keep.
Our storage solutions are suitable for both short-term and longer-term requirements, giving you greater flexibility over how you use your space.
Security is naturally one of the most important considerations when choosing a self storage facility.
At JRM Storage, we understand that the belongings you place into storage can be valuable both financially and personally. That’s why our Lochgelly facility has been designed to provide customers with a secure location for their possessions.
Our storage site benefits from security measures including CCTV monitoring and security lighting, helping to provide additional peace of mind when you leave your belongings with us.
The storage containers themselves are clean, dry and robust, providing a practical environment for storing a wide range of suitable household and business items.
Moving home is one of the most common reasons customers require temporary storage.
There can often be a gap between leaving one property and getting the keys to another. Even when everything goes according to plan, having additional storage space can make the moving process considerably easier.
Instead of trying to fit everything into temporary accommodation or filling a family member’s garage, you can keep furniture, boxes and other possessions together in your own storage unit.
Storage can also be useful if you’re downsizing your home. Rather than making rushed decisions about furniture and belongings, you can place items into storage and decide what you want to keep once you’ve settled into your new property.
Planning an extension, new kitchen, decorating project or complete property renovation?
Clearing furniture and other belongings from the areas being worked on can give builders and tradespeople more room while also helping to protect your possessions from dust, dirt and accidental damage.
A local storage unit gives you somewhere convenient to keep your belongings until the work is complete.
Once your renovation is finished, you can simply move everything back into your home at your own pace.
Our storage units in Lochgelly aren’t just for household belongings.
We can also provide useful additional storage space for businesses, self-employed contractors and tradespeople who need somewhere to keep appropriate equipment, materials, stock, tools or business items.
For smaller businesses in particular, renting additional storage can be a practical alternative to allowing stock and equipment to take over valuable space at home or at your main business premises.
Having a separate storage unit also allows you to keep business items organised and away from your living space.
Whether you require additional storage temporarily or expect to need space for longer, speak to JRM Storage about the options currently available.
Not everyone knows exactly how long they are going to need a storage unit.
A house move might take longer than expected, building work can overrun and business storage requirements can change throughout the year.
That’s why flexibility is important.
JRM Storage caters for customers requiring both short-term and long-term self storage in Lochgelly. Our flexible approach means you don’t need to make an unnecessarily long commitment simply to get the additional space you need.
If your circumstances change, speak to our team and we’ll be happy to discuss your requirements.
